To celebrate Mother's Day, Jeremy, Bryce and I planted a flowering cherry tree in front our investment property. This is part of the 1 Million Trees campaign (to plant 1 million trees by 2010 in NYC). We walked out of our apartment yesterday to see a whole bunch of trees being given away across the street, so after our run in the park, we went over and claimed one for ourselves. We even carried it over to our property via the subway! Bryce loved playing in the dirt...and quite honestly, I think all 3 of us had fun getting our hands in the soil!
