Video Time

I still haven't figured out where I unpacked our camera download cable, but I do have a few videos from the last month or so... Enjoy!

Bryce absolutely loves this game! The first time Jeremy did his giant lion roar, Bryce jumped back completely terrified, but then started laughing and wanted Jeremy to do it again and again and again! I guess he is going to be the type of person who can laugh in the face of danger...

Bryce is really enjoying learning his A,B,C's. He can "spell" his name... "YCE" and often joins in when we sing the ABC song. (By the way, he doesn't hurt himself at the end of this video!)

Jeremy took Bryce to the Brooklyn Children's Museum yesterday. We are really lucky that the museum is only a few blocks from our new house. They have an area just for toddlers, which is full of fun things for Bryce to explore.

Bryce and Jeremy stayed at the museum for 2.5 hours and Bryce still didn't want to leave! Luckily, Mimi is giving Bryce a membership to the museum for his birthday/Christmas present, so we can go back as often as we like!

New News...

Hi all,

We are still up to our elbows in boxes and such at the new place, so I haven't done much with photographs, etc. Not to mention, we just had our phone and Internet hooked up - so you should be hearing from me a bit more often.

Yesterday, we had another ultrasound and our next little munchkin is going to be a girl! She has a very healthy heart, brain and has a good stubborn streak!

Bryce is doing really well. He seems to really like our "new house" and probably has adjusted better than the rest of us. When we got home from the doctor's yesterday, I told him he was going to have a baby sister. He seemed okay with that idea and then tried to see the baby under my shirt. Later, after he had lunch, I had a little dessert for him and told him that I had a surprise for him. He looked at me and said, "A new baby?" Too funny!

Then, today, when he was on the slide, he counted to 10 all by himself! He actually did this 3 times - I was completely blown away! I hadn't been counting with him today at all. He usually counts "1, 2, 3...go" and then goes down the slide. This time, he got to the top of the slide and said, "ten?" I asked if he wanted to count to ten and he said, "yes!"... and then did it! What an amazing little guy!

Until next time...
Love,
Carla

Circus Time?

Jeremy wanted me to put Bryce on my shoulders, but I didn't quite feel confident with all of our balance. I guess we aren't quite ready to give it all up and join the circus!

Our Latest Adventures...

Well, it has been a long while since I've written and even longer since I posted pictures and videos, so enjoy catching up with Bryce...

Bryce loves the playground (particularly the slides and the swings). I've even gotten brave enough to let him go down the big slide by himself...he has always been brave enough!

Bryce and his good friend Nathan! Nathan just moved out of our building, which makes Bryce sad. Luckily, they haven't moved very far away, so we can still get together and play!
Bryce loves to take alligator with him when he goes for walks. He shows him all of the birds, squirrels, sticks and rock along the way!

Bryce loves to watch the cars and trucks on our busy street, but this was particularly exciting... Daddy and Mimi on the scooter!!!Bryce, Jeremy and I went out to NJ to visit Aunt Nikki. She has a new kitten (Popcorn) who was gracious enough to let Bryce play with him! They even shared a hot dog bun!Bryce got a new horse from his Macky (Grandpa Mac) and took it for a ride in the park.
He calls the horse "Big Neigh" and kept stopping along the way to share his sunglasses with the horse.

Bryce loves to play with his cars, trucks and trains. He makes anything into a train...blocks, trucks, even his animals.
