Best Buddies!

Julien came to stay with us today, so his mom could get some things done without a toddler in tow...and Bryce couldn't have been happier! He loves having Julien visit!
Julien seemed to have a great time, too!

Strawberry Fields...Forever

We headed out into the "country" today (a.k.a. - New Jersey) to pick our own strawberries at Alstede's Farm. To say that Bryce had the time of his life would be an understatement! He tried everything...including lots of strawberries from the field!

He rode in the tractor train twice...and one of the times, he was the only kid!

He played in the corn kingdom.
Bryce took his first pony ride. Doesn't he look like a natural?!

He went on the moonbounce and managed not to break his neck!
And, he ate plenty of junk food!
It was a very full day...and I can only hope that Bryce will sleep in tomorrow to recover! It was a hard trip for Mommy, Daddy and Mimi, especially when Bryce threw up on the subway just 3 stops from home. It was, as you can imagine, a horrible situation for everyone! We had to laugh, though because as Bryce was getting cleaned up, he started crying because he wanted to eat more strawberries! Apparently, he wasn't seeing what we were seeing!

Not Quite Ready...

Bryce started the morning off with some dance lessons for Audrey.
Doesn't Bryce look like he is doing some form of ballet?
And here we are at the Garden. Bryce has no clothes on because he peed through 4 outfit changes and we had none left. Apparently, he is not ready to remember to use the potty when he is out and about playing. He also peed through the stroller, to which Jeremy pointed out is a good reason that we have a side-by-side stroller rather than a double-decker!
After Bryce had wiped out all of his clothes, we had to put him in the only thing we had left... Audrey's extra diaper change!

Run, Jump, Fly...

We were back at the Children's Museum today and went up to their new exhibit called "Run, Jump, Fly!" It is geared primarily towards older kids, but have this one made for toddlers. Bryce (and Julien) love it. He also really loves trying to keep up with the big kids at the exhibit. I don't have video of that, but he was romping with the best of them!

Potty report: Bryce is practically perfect at getting to the potty when we are home. Not so much when we are out, but he is definitely gaining awareness. The best is that he now follows us into the bathroom when we go to check out what we have done. He then will say, "Good job, Mommy! I like how you went on the potty."

Can You See It?

There is a car transporter in this photo...can you see it? It is an original Bryce creation!

Learning to Pedal

Bryce loves to ride his "motorcycle" around Brooklyn... and why wouldn't he... someone else does the pushing! Today, however, Jeremy started working with Bryce to get him to pedal himself. He has the strength, but finds it challenging to get the correct leg to push at the correct time. He often goes forward a little bit and then backwards a little bit.

Dressed Up

Bryce got "dressed up" to go for a walk in the puddles this afternoon. He definitely has style!
