On our last full day at the beach (I forgot my camera when we went to the ocean), Bryce had fun burying his legs in the sand and digging big holes in the sand that he could sit in. When we came back to the pool, Bryce discovered that he could walk down the steps and then jump and swim to his Grandpa Mac. He loved it and did not even mind that his face went under the water a little, too!

After Bryce's nap, we all went and played a round of miniature golf. Bryce did really well for the first few holes, but then wanted to go explore everywhere else. He also really liked to pick up the balls for us...even if we were not done with our putting! (Forgot my camera for this, too!) It was really hot at the golf course, so we all jumped in the pool again when we got back. Bryce wanted to play with his trucks and play in the pool at the same time... luckily, the trucks floated!

On our last morning, we stopped our frantic packing long enough to take a picture of the 4 generations of
McDaniels (and the McDaniel
Shannons!)

Bryce's Great Grandma was such a trooper to make the trip to the beach with us after her 94
th birthday and we had a very nice time visiting with her!

On Labor Day, Bryce, Jeremy and I caught the train back to NYC. We were lucky that we got on early in the route because it was standing room only by the end!

Today, Bryce and I met up with our friends,
Julien and Jackie at the zoo.
Julien has finally decided that walking is more fun than crawling and he and Bryce had fun chasing each other around the zoo.

Their favorite part was, of course, milking the cows!
